The Owner's Manual

Fit Guide & Shoe Care.

A handmade pair is built to be lived in for years. A few simple rituals — and the right size from the start — are all it takes to keep them looking, feeling and ageing beautifully.

The Fit Guide

Standard sizing.
Exceptional comfort.

Our shoes follow standard UK and US sizing. For the most accurate fit, measure your foot in centimetres and match it to the chart — the foot length column is your most reliable guide.

Founder's Tip

If you usually fall between two sizes — sometimes an 8, sometimes a 9 — choose the smaller one. Our full-grain leather is natural and supple, and will gently stretch to give you a perfectly tailored fit.

Shoe Care

Three rituals. A lifetime of wear.

A well-cared-for handmade pair will outlive a wardrobe of ordinary ones. These three habits are all it really takes.

01

The 24-hour rule.

Give your leather room to breathe. Handmade shoes need time to recover their shape and dry completely after a day's wear — never wear the same pair two days in a row. Rotating allows the fibres to settle, keeps the silhouette sharp, and effectively doubles the life of every pair.

02

Natural recovery.

Never force the drying process. If your shoes get caught in the rain, keep them away from heaters and direct sunlight — high heat strips the leather of its natural oils and causes premium hides to crack. Stuff them gently with newspaper and let them dry in the shade to preserve the soft, supple feel.

03

The daily ritual.

Protect the finish in seconds. Dust acts like sandpaper, slowly dulling the luxury shine as you walk. Spend ten seconds wiping your shoes with a soft cloth after every wear — it removes abrasive particles before they settle, ensuring your pair looks as sharp as the day it left the atelier.
